This Variable Speed Random Orbit Sander is perfect for polishing, finishing sanding, and abrasive work with opms ranging from 4,000 to 12,000. This machine features true random orbit action for a swirl-free finish. Its ergonomically designed rubberized palm grip ensures comfort and control and its ultra-efficient through-the-pad dust collection system keeps the grit out of your way. The dust bag adjusts 360 degrees to keep the bag conveniently out of your way. Other features include a pad control system that maintains the sanding pad at a controlled speed upon start-up and a pad brake that immediately stops the motor when the power switch is turned off. This sander easily connects to a vacuum hose for even better dust control. It is powerful but lightweight, weighing only 2.6 pounds. Makita’s all ball bearing design ensures longer tool life and reduced noise and vibration. This sander uses 5-inch, 8 hook and loop abrasive discs and accessories.
